With so many different products on the market how do you decide the best theme for your bathroom so that everyone in your home will be happy. How do you even decide if a theme is the right decision for your home? If you have multiple bathrooms do you replicate your theme in both, vary it slightly or go for two completely different designs. If one bathroom is designated for the kids then you could make that one into a great kids theme whilst keeping a more sophisticated look for the grownups.
10 bathroom themes that are popular with most people include the following:
1. Classic Black 'n' White Choose a white bathroom suite and accessorise with black and/or white towels (towels of one colour embroidered with the other make a great contrasting feature and highlight for the theme), black and white accessories (patterned or plain). For the shower curtain which can be a large surface area in most bathrooms either go for plain black or white or be a little daring and choose a bold abstract pattern, black and white of course.
2. Black, Red and White Add a splash of red to the classic black and white theme for a more contemporary look. The easiest way to achieve this is with an abstract patterned shower curtain in all three colours. Accessories can then be updated as required with red towels or sink accessories or even a vase of red and white flowers or consider a bold framed mirror or red cabinet.
3. Nautical Remains a popular theme for bathrooms due to the obvious association with water. How far you take the theme will depend on your personality. A porthole window or mirror would look fantastic in a nautical themed bathroom.

5. Fish Who hasn't seen a fish bathroom? That's because fish make a great colourful underwater theme for any bathroom. 7. Jungle My favourite theme for a kids bathroom is jungle - so much fun and your guests will love it too. Start with a monkey shower curtain, add some jungle animal shower curtain hooks, a cute bathmat, and some embroidered towels and your halfway to a great jungle theme. Finish off with a monkey soap dish, an elephant to hold your toothbrushes and a lion for a tumbler and you are all but done.
8. Blue Has to be the most frequently used plain colour for a bathroom theme. All you have to decide is whether to go simple blue and white or mix it up with stripes. Don't forget there will be many different shades of blue to choose, from pretty pastels to electric blue or navy.
9. Frog The ultimate themed bathroom and probably one of the most fun. Turn your bathroom into your very own lily pond and dream haven for the little fun green frogs or you could go tropical with the tree frogs. Shower curtains, rugs, towels, mirrors - you name it you'll find it has been "frogged".
10. Retro All the rage and making a comeback on the fashion catwalks, so why not in the bathroom. Again I would suggest you find a bold, colourful patterned retro shower curtain you love and take your design inspiration from there. Colour and pattern choice are virtually unlimited on the market. Circles, squares and bold floral patterns are very popular.
